A self guided, walk-about tour of offshore artists’ studios
24th & 25 September 2011:
Studios open: 10 am – 5:30 pm- Special event transport: 9 am- 5:30 pm
WaterMarks has 13 studios and art stops to visit on Scotland Island and Elvina Bay. There are over 50 participating artists.
Download the event map, or pick one up on the day. Watch for event signs, or get help from friendly volunteers along the way.
Free studio visits:
Studio entry is free. Listen to artist talks and see demonstrations throughout the day.
Buying an original work of art:
Use your Visa, Mastercard or cash to buy an original work direct from the artist. No need to worry about transporting your purchase, the artist will arrange delivery after the WaterMarks weekend.
Refreshments and lunch:
Hungry? Need a coffee or lunch? Pick up a bite to eat in Catherine Park, the Scotland Island or Elvina Bay fire sheds. During WaterMarks, the fire sheds are also art stops.
Church Point stop: Gone Fishing Gallery:
There’s more art to see. On your way through Church Point, don’t miss the Gone Fishing Gallery, an artist run initiative.
