Gwyn Perkins is an illustrator living on Scotland Island.
“I began drawing funny pictures as a career after winning a cartoon competition in Melbourne in the late 60′s, the subsequent recognition leading to employment in several large animation studios in Sydney who produced television series for the US.
I formed my own studio mainly to design and animate in the style I preferred, but when fun diminished, moved to Scotland Island, took on odd jobs until being rediscovered as a children’s book illustrator.
Just now I’m continuing drawing development.”
