In the past his practice has undertaken two distinct forms. Firstly there is his oil on canvas work which is usually figurative. Scotland Island artist, Dimitri Lihachov: EmergenceIn this part of his practice he experiments with laying down a combination of thick impasto mediums with thin washes. The other part of his practice has been in the form of traditional iconography in egg tempera or encaustic with gold leaf.
